Martin Luther King

Memphis is where The Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King was shot and killed in 1968.
A visit to the American Civil Rights Museum is essential whilst here.
It follows the history of the rights of African Americans through the ages.
The museum is based in the motel where Doctor King was actually shot - The Lorraine Motel.
You can stand where he was shot and look out across the street to where the shot was fired from - an eerie but touching moment.
You can actually feel the emotions of sadness but also feel inspired by his legacy.
